Local sections participate in Chemists Celebrate Earth Week 2022
The Northeastern Local Section supported the two-day “Rise Up Boston: A Climate Event” at the Museum of Science in Boston. ACS volunteers engaged about 300 visitors in hands-on activities and gave out wildflower seeds to raise awareness about No Mow May.

ACS Global Women’s Breakfast
Join ACS and IUPAC on February 16, 2022 for the Global Women’s Breakfast! The
Global Women’s Breakfast is an event that happens on a single day in February of each
year in conjunction with the U.N Day of Women and Girls in Science. In celebration of
2022’s central theme “Empowering Diversity in Science”, the ACS will host a virtual
panel event and networking sessions with prominent female chemists. Registration is
free!
